Let’s encourage our community to come together whether it be in their front gardens, porches or windows (Government guidelines on social distancing MUST be observed).
Let’s come together on the 8th May to celebrate and show that through unity, humanity will not be suppressed and our heroes will be remembered and honoured as they deserve. Take afternoon tea in your own front garden and join in with the ‘Nations toast’ at 3pm “To those who gave so much, we thank you,”
Lastly, it would be incredible to see our communities ‘dress’ for the occasion, lets decorate our windows, our fences, our hedges. Have you got some school uniform the kids have outgrown? Or union jack bunting? Anything! Get creative!
